Despite the years of my personal growth, it was not until I allowed Jesus Christ to come into my heart that I experienced true peace. I had to look at my Heart Condition, work through the pain and soften those areas of my heart to allow God to speak the truth into it through his Holy Spirit. When we are hurt, parts of our Heart harden and are closed off to feeling. ![]() It took me many years of my own personal work and therapy to get to a place where I could truly open my heart enough to trust God to come into it. He had me right were I was supposed to be. After being saved, I realized that Jesus was there with me all along, I just didn't know it. Boy did I learn first hand that God has a sense of humor. I ultimately developed a false belief in myself and that if I controlled things in my life and did them my way, I would be safe and protected from further pain. ![]() Being adopted as an infant and then experiencing divorce, abandonment, and rejection early on, pain and sin were no strangers to me. None of us can go through our childhood and families without experiencing some form of pain and sin, despite what the world may tell us. I believe that we all come from a place of brokenness. In order to make treatment affordable, we work with insurance companies, participating churches as well as offer sliding scale fees. We can help people with a wide range of emotional and psychological issues. We work with children, adolescents, adults, families and couples. We have both male and female therapists who are licensed Clinical Social Workers, licensed Psychologists and Marriage and Family Therapists. We are a team of licensed and credentialed mental health professionals who feel called and blessed to be of service to people who are hurting, have lost direction or are facing difficult life obstacles.
